Product Manager and Design Lead
After S'More Date got acquired by Tawkify, I led product strategy and development for the Customer Experience squad, working on improving user retention and new user growth. I continued to oversee design across marketing and product, mentoring 3 designers and 2 QA engineers.
Led Tawkify's rebrand into a relationship platform.
Customer feedback highlighted how slow and inefficient our website was, so our goal was to modernize the brand and introduce matchmaking to a younger set of customers. I worked with one designer and one front-end engineer to reduce page load times from 5-7 seconds to less than 1 second. The new website also lifted our Trustpilot rating from 4.1 to 4.6 stars.
Created a conversational onboarding experience.
The registration process for a dating app is quite lengthy, and from previous user data at S’More, we wanted to design a much more engaging experience for the Tawkify app. We built prototypes for two versions: the first was creating a chatbot designed to extract the user’s information in a conversational way. Increased efficiency for internal teams.
Used quantitative and qualitative feedback from our matchmakers to pinpoint areas of improvement for our internal candidate search tool (wireframes shown). Our matchmakers and ops team needed a more robust search plan experience that allowed them 100% flexibility in changing candidate characteristics.
